The FIP Residency Program

One suitable method to obtain residency in Greece is through Financially Independent Person (FIP) visa, which is based on the financial capability and monthly income of the head of the family. As it is obvious from the name, this type of migration method applies to individuals with suitable employment status and income.

On the other hand, you must be able to prove to the Greek government, through providing employment certificates and bank account statements from your country, that you can afford the cost of living in this country without the need for employment in Greece. Your monthly stable income should be at least between 2000 to 2500 euros. In this type of residency, depending on the number of family members, a certain amount is deposited in a Greek bank, and the process for obtaining a 3-year temporary residency card is initiated.
